NMAC Refund -- Did you get yours?
I leased a Nissan in '00 and apparently there was some class action lawsuit against NMAC. I got my refund check yesterday ... $1.72! Apparently $500k was awarded and split between 239000 individuals.
Look out Dairy Queen here I come!

No, the settlement was over a million dollars. $500k went to 4 lawyers, the other $500k went to 240,000 people.

Honestly, I wouldn't care about the money for the paint, I'd rather just see NISSAN take it up the azz for a $1,000,000.

This settlement had nothing to do with the car - it had something to do with illegal charges on lease accounts - late charges, maybe?

I'm going out to dinner tonight - I'll buy half a beer, on Nissan!
