Weapon R Intake
I have the Weapon R Intake and well Its loud enough. People actually ask if I have an after market exhaust on there!!! Here are some photos of my Weapon R Intake. But then again with normal driving it sounds like theres no intake on there. Thats what I like about the Weapon R Intake.
Plus if you check out the Weapon R Website they have add ons for the intake to make it into a Cold Air or Ram air Intake.

The weapon R filter is basicaly the same as the Monsterflow. Yes its loud, but it's the quietest of all the ones I had on my Frankencar midpipe, which is the same as the Weapon R midpipe.

My setup is: The Firm Mid, a MAF adapter from AutoZone, Stillen POP and the Frank mounting bracket.
If you don't have a Pop and are going to buy one I recomend the Jet, same as the $tillen less $$.
The I.D. of the TB is 74mm at the outer end and 70mm at the butter fly.
The I.D. of the Firm is 70mm.
The I.D. of the MAF is 70mm.
The I.D. of the Frank is 66-68mm the way you get it. Due to the way the piping for the Frank is cut (Crimp) the outer ends of the pipe are bent inward. I cut both of the ends off my Frank and the true I.D. of the pipe is around 74mm. But using the Frank you still need the stock MAF housing.
I'm not after a loud setup but I don't know how you could get any louder than either of these setups. The stack for the POP helps the air flow but also acts as a megaphone for the intake noise.
I hope this helps.
