You'll find out when you take it to get aligned after dropping the car. If the shop can't get it in spec, time for the kit. FYI, had to put one on mine too.

The stock suspension should be good for drops less than 2". Anything over 2" requires the kit.

Thanks Audtatious!

So anything lower than Sprint needs camber kit and anyting higher than Progress doesn't need it. Right?

So Eibach should be okay without camber kit. What if you cut a coil in front? Does this lower more than 2 inches?

Thanks for the help!

The Eibachs only drop the front 1.3-1.5", so no camber kit is needed. Cutting a coil would probably equal a 2" drop, but only those who have done it would know for sure and will hopefully report back the actual drop with a coil removed.....

I didnt need the camber kit. I'm appx 1.75 inches lower than stock up front and 1.5 inches in the rear.

Says who? Lots of guys on Teins, myself included, didnt get an alignment or camber kit. I have about 7K on the suspesnion, car tracks perfectly straight and no uneven tire wear...

The 2" drop is a "general concensus" and is different from model to model dependant on geometry. It is also referenced on this forum quite a bit. Honestly, 7k on the RE92's (if that is what you still have) may be too early to tell if you have a camber issue or not as those tires have a relatively stiff tread ( vs a true ultra-z tire ). Also, camber probs won't necessarily effect tracking, but toe issues can.

The Sprint springs are a 1.8" drop, which I have on my car. Alignment and camber adjustments have not been needed on my car at all.

Yeah, hopefully for the better

Different peeps will have different results. IMO, 2" is a good "to be aware" number. Would suk to get a drop and have to put a camber kit on afterward, after replacing worn tires, due to not being aware of potential issues.

Either way..the BLOWtenzas are quite possibly the WORST tire out there..maybe getting them worn is a good thing! I need 18s anyway!
