insurance for 5th gen max

What kind of liability coverage do you get for your Max, 100k/200k? What is your annual premium and what is your insurance company? Do you all get comprehensive or just liability, if comprehensive, what is your deductible? I think the premium for the 02/03 Max is quite expensive, due to higher horsepower and HID thefts.

compr. 500 deductible
uninsur. motorist
and other stuff.

1017 /6 mo. With State farm.

And it was the cheapest I could find. Progressive and Gayco offered 2300! for 6 months. Shop around.

It all depends on where you live and how old you are...

I have full coverage, its required by NMAC loan. I think I have liability/comp at $500/$1000 deductable with Progressive. I pay about $125/month and I am 23.

With the '02, my insurance with Allstate was $1400/yr and I live in the City of Chicago, not the 'burbs. That included Good Drivers' Discount, Security System Discount, and Airbag Discount.

Do you live in Alaska, garage your car in an igloo, drive only 365 miles a year, married and have 5 children, work for the military (you get a good discount these days) and never had an accident in your life? $800 a year for full coverage is unbelievably low. In New York, where I live, you easily pay more than $800 just for liability coverage with the minimum required by law.

I used to pay $80 a month for full coverage until I rear ended somebody. Now I pay $122 a month. I'm with allstate. I hate them for jacking up the premium that much. I also have a $500 deductable. I live in the city of Houston.

Full coverage, $50 deductible, $1500/yr w/Kemper (now, Unitrin Direct). They were the cheapest we could find considering there's a total of 6 accidents on this family's record.

What's weird is that the Hyundai covered under the same plan is MORE than the Max's premium! Freakin $11K car w/4 cyl has a higher premium than a $28K car w/255hp..crazy!

Your age will affect your insurance rate. I am 23 and have one accident on my record, pay 169.5. Its even cheaper if you have no accidents or tickets, and older than 26.

$1700 every month ... must be a typo .. . otherwise I really feel sorry for you. For that price, I would rather walk or just rent a BMW 745 whenever I need to drive

Yo man they are raping u! Have you tried Nationwide or State Farm I know what you mean by being young and getting insurance. I have nationwide and I'm 20 years old and I pay 280 a month. I know thats high but it's better than like $550 a month. You should try to look more

Wow!!!

I am 26, married, no accidents, and live in Iowa. I have a $500 deductible and I pay $540/year ($45 a month) for my 2000 Maxima (full coverage). I pay exactly the same ($45 a month) for my 1997 Pathfinder as well. I used to ***** about my insurance premiums but after reading this thread I think I will shut up! Well, I guess after 20 years I have found one good thing about living in Iowa...

Yo whats up msteffe I would kill someone to have your insurance rate. But I bet money that know one looking at this thread could name a city in Iowa. Thats why your rate is so cheap like a thousand people live in that state. LOL

Well I pay used to pay 500 every 6 months with my 2k max. I just bought my 2k2 6 speed and i pay 550 every 6 months. This is full coverage, no fault, 100k, 500 deductable. It would cost me 100 dollars more a year for the 250 deductable. I am 23. I have good student discount, 20 percent off for saftey features of the car. 20 percent off for the anti-theft stuff on the car. i am also still under my parents, but my name is on the insurance now with me being sole owner of the car. If your still young, single, you can have ur parents be part owner of teh car and be included in the family discount, or your parents can include you onto the plan and that will work too.

$85 per month

I pay $85.00 per month for my '03 Loaded SE with $300K comp/collision with $500 deductibles. Not bad, but about $5 per month higher than I was paying on my '01. Have a '03 Nissan Pathfinder SE as well and it's $95 per month for the same coverage. Nationwide is pretty good. After 5 years of no wrecks, you get a "free wreck" meaning it won't increase your rates.
