They have the right to refuse you if you have aftermarket brake pads, even though you and I know it's bung. I had to have mine turned at 17k and they are starting to warp again. I'm going to get the Brembo blanks this time.

I have never heard such SH*T!!! so if you bought pads from anywhere other then the dealer then you have aftermarket pads? That is a load od horsesh*t. You tell that dumbass, well forget that dumbass and go else where. It is not like it is hard to replace rotors. I got my cross drilleds from Stillen because my rotors were warped. Shaked like hell when I drove 50 MPH or faster. The Stillen cross drills don't even have ot be turned, just install. My dealer here in Maryland put both the Stillen cross drilleds and the metal matrix pads on for me. Your dealer is an *** O !!!
I am sure there is someone near you that can help you out.

Let's be very clear on the issue of aftermarket parts causing problems and/or being the reason why warranty work will be refused: the Moss-Magnusson act expressly forbids warranty work from being denied if aftermarket parts are used in lieu of OEM parts.
Sema (the Specialty Equipment Manufacturer's Association) got that act/law passed many years ago when the car manufacturers started with the same BS the dealer is telling you now, for obvious reasons....if the car manufacturers got their way they would monopolize the market for all spare parts, period. Congress saw thru that (albeit after a lot of lobbying from SEMA) and got that fixed pronto.
Moss-Magnusson further says that that only reason why dealers and/or car manufacturers can deny warranty work for a part substitution is if and only if the car's service package includes free replacements.
In other words, if Nissan were to offer free brake pads, they yes, you can be denied warranty replacement if you installed your own but since they do not give us free pads, we can install whatever the (*&^$^$ pads we want and they cannot deny a warranty claim based on that.
Look up Moss-Magnusson, print it, take it to the dealer. You may not have to even print it....if the Service Manager is knowledgeable, just by the mention of the words Moss-Magnusson the car will be serviced.
Please post results of the battle

Now after they call you back, say for the inconvienience, you would like a $75 service credit
They will send you that aswell and it can be used for oil-changes, service or parts

If you want my 2c, although I KNOW it ****es you off....the time and $$ you save just by buying different rotors and having them installed will pay for itself in piece of mind and lessened headache from friggin' Nissan.
AND, you won't have to go back and have the argument again in another 15k miles.
As soon as mine start to shake (15k and it's starting) I'm not even going to BOTHER with Nissan. I'm going straight for the Brembos!
Go on -- you OWE it to yourself!!!

By burning I think they mean glazed. This is when a lot of heat is generated and the rotors get a "polished" look. All they need to do is take them off and resurface them, not a big deal.
Pull them off and take them to a shop, I got mine done for $7 a wheel for my other car.
