Well from reading many post on this site, there have been MAF's that have gone bad after install, When they go bad, the car runs poorly. Infact, I just had mine replaced under warranty recently. I am not familiar with your intake. Check all connections and make sure it is tight. Some of the more expireenced guys will read this and reply so hang tight.

Wow, good news, you are fortunate. Sometimes oil on the MAF can ruin it. You must have cleaned it before it could foul. Congrats and enjoy that power and sound.

Did you add more oil? The Stillen should come pre-oiled, just install and go. If you did add more you should try to get as much off as you can some how, because it probably will happen again.

Yes, i did add more oil, and yes it happen again. Every time i stop i take the MAF out and blow it off. I also tried a qutip. It worked great. Just be real carefull when i stuck it in the little hole as not to bend the wire. It seems to be working fine now.

Good deal!!

How do you like the Stillen Intake? I was going to get the Stillen, but decided to go w/ the Injen instead. Does it come with a heatshield?

I like great, but from reading all of post i think the injen might be better. I just did not want a cold air intake. Had one in my 91 acura integ. and water got in it.

I've grown to like my Injen intake. But its not a true cai in that it sits in the engine bay with the filter right below the battery. So, the only way to get water in it is to really drive through very deep water. It might be more expensive than the stillen. I paid like $250 from SWA.

It does look great though!

It comes pre-oiled. You essentially ruined the filter. Your MAF is going to permanently fail very, very soon.
