I think its a little too black/dark. If you use black transperent paint which is made specifically for tail lights, and just spray 3-4 layers, I think that would look nice. It will give it a dark 'tint' look. The paint pattern you used is nice though

Since we're talking about painting lights. I was thinking about painting the dark part around my tail lights. I was thinking of painting it the same color as the body. I've only seen one other person who has done this, but his car is blue and I can't really tell how it looks. If anyone has a lighter color car with painted tails let me know. Or if anyone is handy with photoshop, I'd appreciate a pic. Any thoughts/comments?
