Just got it today!

I just got done with a spirited drive in my "new" 2000 SE 5-spd. I'be been carless for over a month and it feels good to get into a Maxima.

I feel happy that I'm now officially a Maxima owner and part of the org.

One question:
About the Street Scene aluminum valance grille. I have one and I was wondering what kind of treatment I should/could do to it before installation to prevent rust. My dad has this stuff called "Plastic Guard" that contains no wax and puts a plastic coating to prevent rust. It says its protects chrome, trim and plastic. Should I use it or something else, or nothing at all?

welcome to the org. You'll love the car. Far as plastic coat stuff, never heard of it. I always use some good wax on the paint, and armorall inside. Cheap, easy, and i bet its shinier than a plastic coating. But I dont know that for sure
