Does anyone know where are the instructions?
I tried http://www.umnitza.com/ddelightninginstallmaxima.htm
and it doesn't work. I only found Gen V instructions on their website.
Thanks for help.

i said youll be alright, i did not say you cant come here and do it at the same time...and if i did my fault!

Ok, sorry for the latest update
Our shipments are delayed again - why?
We spent 20 hours isolating the correct colors on all the rings because our suppliers mislabeled 90% of them.
So, that's why some of you who have purchased in the next batch have not received yours, dont' worry, we will make the shipping correct this time.
One other thing, we are going to insure that problems with the packages don't arise any longer.
If you give us til Next Monday, you will be happy.
For spare parts, that's also the next time I'll have a bunch to ship.
After that, no issues at all from then on out.
I do not get updates on this thread, if you need help info@umnitza.com

Well I got mine in last friday, i didnt haven any adhesive on the ends of my rings, so i went and bought all weather double sided foam tape at home depot. rated 5 lbs. Worked great though. Sometimes the lights will light up right, and sometimes. they will remain that purplish color. So i said forget it and I'll talk to Umnitza tomorrow. Well i put everything in and have to go to a dinner party and presto they are working great? what's up with this. lol oh well they look great and sexy as can be
So, the reason we have issues with breakage is two fold
1) my shipper isn't putting sticky labels of Fragile on them.
2) our box is being tossed around like a lame duck.
BTW - guys, we have completely caught up with shipments.
We have about 12 units in stock finally.
So tell me, was the install difficult? Doesn't seem to have been, too many of you are saying you've had no problems

I don't think the install was too bad....only issue i had was since i don't have an intake i had to velcro the "black box" to the battery. There wasn't enough room for it to screw into the battery tie down bolt, the OEM airbox was in the way. I also couldn't move the box due to the wires being the length they were. Once i did find another spot one wire did not reach a proper mounting point, i ended up running the ground wire over the air box, guess that'll change when i drop in my intake. Besides that no problems here, except for my ignorance in testing
(thanks for the help Matt!).

I've gotten a lot of questions on how to test the DDE's so here is short write up. It's a lot easier than it looks on here.
To test the dde's:
First you will test at one time 1 ballast and 2 rings (big and small ring) There are 4 white wires coming out of the ballast to 2 plugs. Plug the rings into each plug. (One ring per plug) On the end of each wire coming off of the ring is a metal connector (that will later plug into the black plugs provided) Plug these metal ends into each connector. Doesnt matter which way. Make sure there is a good connection and if any metal is hanging out, cover it up with electrical tape temporarly. You do not want the two connector to touch when you are testing the rings out. Now you have the rings plug up to the ballast. Now out of the ballast is 2 more wires. A red and brown. Touch the brown with the negative (ground) and the red with the positive. Be sure your not touching any metal with your fingers. The rings should light up.
Edit: I'll post a pic of it:

Hope this help guys.

Yep sure did. Not a single problem. It's the same thing. you can jump a car using the negative battery lead (so long as its hooked up) or find a ground somewhere on the car like a strut bolt.
could there be a reason why all the rings dont light up (even after car is running& warm) It has been 15-35 degrees this past week- I'm really ticked.....
they havent been lit up like they are supposed to since the night of the install....

I had the same exact problem when I first installed mine...IGOR911 did as well, and he came up with the solution..its all in the connectors (black clips, male/female ends), simple solutions is to cut the connectors and hard wire the wires together..for some reason the black connectors are "doodoo" and somehow block most of the current..I did it and dont have that problem anymore..

They do not like the cold.
Mine do that as well. They need time to warm up.
Additionally, hard wiring = soldering. While it's not advised for the average person, if you know how to solder, by all means, go ahead.
We've solved so of those issues, but we haven't eradicated them.
We're working on it though

Oops, I broke one of my halo's. Be very careful on the installation. These things are very fragile. One of my high beam halo's was a little bit smaller than the other high beam halo. Realizing that they had a little flex to them I spread the smaller one out just by a hair w/a piece of cardboard and mounted it . When I went to place the 1/2 lb weight on the halo I noticed that the cardboard was in the way, so I made a new piece of cardboard to spread it out in the middle instead of at the mounting points, snap, it was all over. Lucky for me Matt was in the office and is sending me another one. I should have it by Monday. A costly lesson! Just mount the halos and don't worry if they don't fit right on the edge. It is ok if they ride the inside a bit.
Got the ring as promised, If anyone breaks their ring be sure to save the little plastic mounting tabs. I had to dig mine out of the trash when my new ring showed up without them. It was a dirty job. I don't think that the replacement rings are going to have the mounts on them. Take yours off your broken ones to be on the sfe side. Matt you guys need to do something about those connectors. Sometimes my rings don't light up like they should and I have to giggle the connectors to get them to light up correctly. I guess I am going to change the connectors to something that is a bit more reliable.
Another question. Is there any reason why the rings aren't more of a complete circle. I mean they stop a bit short of where the light bezel ends its radius or curve. It would be nice to see these things go all the way around or at least up to where the headlights end their radius and straighten out at the top.
All I need are some eyelids to complete the look. By the way, these things are insane looking.

Hi Matt,
I was going to send you a pic of the light out of the car but I decided to send you pics of the DDE's fuilly installed. I did everything except clear out the orange ring, including painting the inside satin black. I looked for that damn light at home depot and couldn't locate it. Today is Friday and I am heading down to my garage to install into the vehicle. I will fire off some pics later this afternoon. Everthing looks really good! I can hardly wait.
