Geez, whooped by a prelude!

Well,

At a light I had a go with the latest model Prelude, 96-98ish. He had exhaust, i'm assuming intake also and a triple gauge pillar. I had a car and a half on him at 50, by 80 he had 3 cars on me. I'm guessing he was boosting or spraying. Sounded like an Indy car goin by me. What do u guys think.

is he did use that boost, he's gaaaaaaaaaaaaay. Me personally, i dunt like that nitrous stuff. I think that if people wanna race, race with your car, not a nitrous bottle...
Oh yea.. you would of had him if it wasnt for that crap he had. =)

racing is racing. it doesn't matter what you have. the bottom line is that the prelude won and that's all the matters.

Those Preludes are a good match for 00,01 AT and MT Maximas. I've instigated them several times, but never coaxed a newer 'Lude into a race from a dig. For some reason, they never wanna race ?

Driven well, the newer Preludes should do mid 15's. I'm not surprised by the outcome, many bottle-fed Honduh's running around here. But hey, run what you brung, right ?

Fernando.

p.s. in before the lock.

his top end sounds real strong, probly thanks to VTEC. The preludes have little torque, which sounds like the reason yuo beat him to 50, but after that, its all top end and those cars make some good power up top. The indy sound was probly his engine at 8000 RPMs Dont ya wish the VQ had an 8000 RPM redline?

Get the TechnoSqure ECU upgrade and bump up our redline a little bit.

Tripple gauge pod tells you either:
A)Ricer
or
B)N20
or
C)SC/TC

Sounds like he was B) or C) and I wouldn't be ashamed of getting beat by a 2D much lighter car that takes very little cash to make damn quick.

You win some, you lose some.

Probably SC. I raced a 94 prelude vtec w/ a pretty good driver and he didn't stand a chance.

Yeah, and if everything else fails, you can use that excuse.
