opening 2k2 headlights

I personally like the PIAA hyperwhite bulbs. During the day a blue color is illuminated through the lense, but it's not noticable at night. It shines a white color when you signal which looks superb
... just my two cents.

Nice job man, thats exactly what I want to do with the signals. Clear them out but put the chrome bulbs in so it still blinks amber. That way it will still keep my **** legal. Were do you guys get the chrome/amber bulbs from?

Our install instructions show you how, if you ever forget it's there.
Our preference, since we do this all the time is 20-25 minutes @ 200 degrees ON a cookie sheet.
This gives the sealant an even melting and there is no chance that the sealant will hold more than necessary at pulling off.
Additionally, it's best to remove the two back screws after the light has gotten hot. They come out easier and you won't strip the head.

i know you know since you have way more experience than i do, but there are THREE back screws that need to be taken off first for the people that dont know.

What you want are the Malibu Light bulbs. Here's the info from the wrapper. I bought mine from Home Depot also... go to the section where the Malibu lights are, not the flood lights...

hope this helps... I spent an hour looking around home depot for flood lights, in a two pack for about $11, that had plastic lenses...
