2000 se 5psd "A little sticky in 2nd"

Mr. Max has about 67k. And I noticed around 60k. it gets a little harder to shift smoothly into 2nd from 1st.

Does anyone else have this problem.

Have you changed the tranny fluid?
I did mine at 30K and shifting was noticibly more smooth.
If you have never changed your tranny fluid, you are WAY overdue.

Hmm, I guess I should look into getting mine changed. I have 48K now, and I bought the car w/ 30K.
Do you think that it's already been done?

WOW I didn't know you had to change your trans. fluid on a manual. Well at least not right until 100k.

mine isn't sticky from first to second, but from second to third, it is a real bish...Anyone that has driven my car has problems from second to third

Time to change my fluids!!
