If SSR comes through, it's gonna be a turbo anyways. Haven't heard of any SC's in serious discussion...

We have a supercharger system available, depending on fitment it's usually easier, plumbing wise.

Would anyone like to step up to the development plate

I am sure you heard this alot, but if you were on the East coast I would be more than happy to.
Could you give us more details on your progress of the charger???

At one point in time there was a company called Alpine Developments that promised us a Roots-type supercharger. Apparently someone was to pay them to get it branded under their name and that was the last I ever heard. Their supercharger kit was supposed to come out last May or so. Obviously that didn't happen, but no surprise there.

The closest thing I have seen for a supercharger for the 02-03 Max is by ATI Procharger who makes a kit for the 350z. The kit gave the z 385 whp. It looks like if you do some fabrication you can make the kit fit the Max, but I have yet to see if anyone did so.

I have some contacts at Procharger and they will not be designing a kit for the Maximas. They make one for the 350Z and G35 Coupe because they are rear wheel drive. They put a lot of work into it but it is not going to be designed.

I did the same thing. I felt stupid when I talked to my friend that works there. It's kind of funny...up until like a year ago, I had no idea that ATI was like 5 minutes from me... I called him knowing they made a 350Z kit and he shot me down quickly...

The reason we don't have a supercharger yet is because of the variable intake. If you look in your engine bay, you'll notice that there is almost no access to the pulleys. The only possible way would be to use the tensioning pulley, but I have no idea if you can feed anything off of it.

I'm sure though that if few guys were willing to get involved with help of SSR we would be able to come up with a solution.

Yeah, knowing SSR that'll be what's next. But consider how much will have to be spent to get a turbo kit from them, then factor in that the supercharger system will also be very complicated (according to what you're saying). So I'm wondering just how much a SC kit would cost

Somebody needs to step up to the plate on this! If there were here in WA I'd do it. Since I have 2 cars, the downtime wouldn't affect me.

SSR - Do you guys already have a 02+ Maxima for the turbo kit? Have you guys began fabricating the turbo kit for the Maxima yet?

No, we do not, we are still waiting to complete the Altima, then we'll have a Maxima come down and complete that. However, in the mean time we can get a supercharger project, someone show me these pics of this complicated pulley system.

Thanks.
