Warranty Gold is pretty good they actually cover cars that have been altered like a Dropped car they just cover everything except what you altered

just a word of advice, maybe you should consider not getting one, unless you know you will need it a lot because your car is prone to breaking. I know consumer reports advices against them for just about anything.

I got one for my other car to get it to 75k or 7 years, I never used it once. $900 ****ed away. This was for a car that was considered unreliable to begin with ('95 Talon Turbo TSi AWD). At the time there was just so many things that could go wrong with the car. I still have it with 135k on it and it still runs like new.

Sounds like you are high mileage too, just keep changing the oil and don't beat it like a stolen rental it'll last forever.

Do not get 1st source auto warranty. They do not cover any repairs documented by tsb's.

Think about it ... if it was such a good deal, how do they stay in business? While there is something to be said for the 'piece of mind' factor, look carefully at exactly what's covered before making a decision. Most of the items are things that, chances are, either will never fail or won't fail until well past the expiration of the warranty. Furthermore, many of the covered items aren't overly expensive to fix (couple hundred dollars at most).
