Considering HID Fog light conversion

I put in driving lights recently, as many of you have probly seen, and I'm now considering converting them to true HID's. They currently match my HIDs perfectly, and I can get enough light out of them to drive fairly comforatbly, but I'd lvoe to get the true HID light out of them, like my headlights. So I'm considering the conversion kit, something like custommaxima has. What would you recommend for this? Worth the time/money? How much light would I get from them if they were installed in my driving lamps vs. stock fog lamps? I've seen a couple pics of what I beleive were just someones HID foglights (stock enclosures) lighting up the road, and it looked awsome, very bright. Would love to get any input. Thanks

i think its a must if u have hid headlights.....the car looks so amazing with hid in both fogs and headlights...and ive seen ur driving lights, with hid in them i think they would work more then ur headlights...i have hid fogs and they work a lot....i have so much vision from headlights and foglights to light up all lanes.....i think its worth every penny i spent on hid....

MM, he's talking about true HIDs (accomplished by doing a conversion w/HID ballasts etc.). Those CM ones are just halogen driving lights.

These are the ones from CM:
http://custommaxima.com/HID.php

They are a true HID conversion. Other thing is, the driving lights I got have the blue tinted lense, should I get a new set of drivin lights with clear lens? Or do ya think it would be fine with the blue tinted ones?

Go for it. It's better than always buying h3 bulbs for the fogs until you spent a total of $300. Might as well by an HID H3 kit to end it. (3 pair of piaa H3 are almost $300- keep that in mind)!

Good point about the cost of PIAA bulbs.... I'd love to see a couple pics of HID fogs/driving lights too tho, I know the light output would be great, but its $300.
