HID lamps for Fog Lights

Has anyone used a real HID bulb to replace factory fog light bulbs? If so, which brand? Is there even a direct replacement HID bulb for the fogs? Thanks.

custommaxima.com offers a HID fog conversion. Its supposed to be basically plug in... I was thinking of getting it to go in my driving lights

were you talking about the light above your turn signal or your new fog lights?

I have the proxenon.com boheman brand. They are direct plug in. These capsules are 6500K which are a pretty close match to the stock HIDS. Get ready to drop some cash though. If you order from them make sure you tell them you are an ORG. member and you'll get a discount. I found that out after I got mine. Here are some pics of the install.

You can go to my web page to see bigger photos. I loked at a lot of kits and this is a good quality kit. I've had for a few months now with no problems. IGOR911 also has this kit. http://www.cardomain.com/memberpage/482900/1

You mean was I thinking of putting an HID conversion in my corner lights?? No, no, no, that'd be strange. I was considering putting HID's in my new driving lights.

Ouch! They do look great though.

FWIW, if I had a spare $400 for mods (**Jealous **) I would use it towards a power mod, like TS ECU or exhaust.
