Common 5th gen. Max problem? - Has this happened to you?

I have had to replace the bearing on my right front passenger wheel a couple times now. It has been a couple years or so since the last replacement. Same wheel now makes a noise only when turning left. I took the wheel off and after putting it back on, the wheel is worse now. The wheel didn't really rock back and forth when I put my hands on it.
Just concerned it might be something else. Don't want to pay to get the hub and bearing replaced when it might not be that.
Any ideas?
