OSCAI opinion.....

i did this in conjunction w/ the GAB. i used a dryer vent and 4" coupler. the dryer vent pretty much hangs straight down, and sits on the rubber lip in the front of the car.

i have driven my car from iowa to mempis and back, plus lots of in town driving and wet weather driving. i took the dryer vent off to look at the inside, and there is not a speck of dirt, or drop of water. besides, i really dount that water cold make the jump from the front of the airbox to the filter and into the tb anyway.

power? i dunno. maybe at the track. but for a stoplight throttle jockey, probably not noticeable. sound? good.

anyway - good, safe mod, imo.
