WooHooo ...

I spent like $20 at Home Depot to get my material!!

I was looking at the SHOP VAC hose some of U guys used ... but I didn't like it!

So I ended up getting OTHER SHOP VAC stuff!!
Here's my list:

1) 3" to 2" Coupling X2
2) SHOP VAC extention Wand (had to cut, 3 inches)
3) a little Secret item I picked up which makes a KICK *** Ram Air!

Now I got a REAL nice CAI, Smooth as hell, I straight PIPE with a RAM AIR at the end!

So what does it look like with everything put back together? How much better does your car run now? I can't see it making that much of a difference. (I could be wrong, looky at all those loud Hondas... )

Do a search in the 5th Gen Forum under Air Silencer CAI and OSCAI.

The only visual difference is a tube running straight down from your scoop. It's kinda hard to notice unless you are looking for it.

If all you are after is noise... go for a cone intake or better yet PR CAI. The OSCAI is said to give better performance on track than a cone intake so thats why a lot of people are doing it. That and you don't need to cut your fender.

Which section of Home Depot did you find the flexible piping you used? All I could find that had a 3" diameter was 12-14 ft. sewer piping that had holes in it. I bought it and it works but I'm sure something without holes would work better.
