Cutting Eibach's for a lower ride
I know I saw a thread on this at one time but i have no way to search for it since I'm not a contributing member. The donations link isn't working either, so I can't change that.
I'm interested in getting a slightly lower ride out of the ProKit but want to do it the correct way. No hack jobs. Help is very much appreciated.

I heard some bad things about this. DOnt cut a $200+ spring. Just get Maxspeeds. they are like 80-100 and you cant *** them up. please dont cut your springs. I believe they are a progressive spring rate and you will destroy that plus if you cut in the wrong place the average "k" value will be increased meaning that the force applied (f=k*x) will still be the same but the k value will have to compensate because you lowered the x (distance traveled) value. I do not know how the springs would be able to be any softer. If someone does then please explain.

Thank you...that's what I thought. I guess i'll have to sell them (never used) on Ebay. I dread posting a thread asking about springs and shocks
Maybe I'll go on cardomain and see what I like on there. My preference is the JIC's but Avalon wants $1900.00 plus $600 to install them If anyone wants to offer up some links that would great.
