Aftermarket tail light help please

Hello there fellow Maxima owners,

I was just wandering if anyone has any of these tail lights on their 5th gen and if you have what do you think about them.

http://motors.search.ebay.com/00-03-...osortorderQ3D2

Thanks.

not to but.....
not only are those tailights ugly, but more importantly, they are illegal

and before anyone brings up arguments, here are the answers to them

"but it has red bulbs"
according to the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration http://www.nhtsa.dot.gov/ , tails lights must REFLECT red

"but the lexus rs430 has clear tailights"
it also has red reflectors on the bumper

Thanks, but I am aware of them being for offroad use only. I am planning on some modifications to them if I get them.

I'm the one that swapped with custommaximaSE. I think the 00-01 SE tails look much better on dark colored 02-03's than that garbage on Ebay.

Don't buy them. I bought a pair last year and I had to piece together tailight sockets to make them work. Plus the company I bought them from charged me twice and it was a pain in the *** to get a refund. I find the red bulbs turn pink real quick also.

It's definately a lot easier to do it in the heat (or use a heat gun). But Johny (custommaximaSE) and I toughed it out and managed to do it when it was still pretty cool outside. You gotta wait forever for the weather to heat up in Chicago. We tore up our hands, but in the end it looked great.
No probs w/ mine at all Johny. I've gotten a lot of compliments! Now all those tough guys in their 4 bangers think that I've got the 3.0 when they pull up behind me. hehehe
