Walbro Install?
For those of you that installed the Walbro... How did you do it?
The Walbro was about 1/4 of an inch taller than the OEM pump, so it wasn't fitting back together....
We finally had to leave the filter screen off to get it to fit without bulging out the bottom of the canister..
What did you guys do?

DO NOT run that pump with no filter screen. Reason being is that dirty and leaves and stuff something get into the tank and that can get picked up by the pump and jam the pump. Not a good idea. When I repalced my fuel filter, i noticed a good bit of crap on the screen filter.
What I had to do was on the top part of the fuel pump there are two notches where you can see where its holding the pump from pushing further into the fuel filter, we shaved those off some more so it would jam in further. Then I also didnt use the black rubber piece on the bottom of the fuel pump. I just used the small plastic piece that holds the pump from falling out. Then I was fine.
