Batteries. Which one

Hello All,

I have suffered from a BAD OEM BATTERY.
I now have a duralast gold which I paid $75. for at AutoZone.
It wasn't the cheapest battery they had but it was the second outta three.

Should I get a different battery or will this one be efficient?

Thanks for your help.

BTW. Are the OEM batteries good?

Optima batteries are sweet! My bro has had the same red top battery in two or three cars over the past 4 years. Awsome, worth the money especially if your in a cold climate.

Optima batteries are made by Johnson Controls. Johnson controls supplies batteries to Costco. Costco batteries recently were concluded to be the best by Consumer reports.
I just picked one up for my 97 altima (same battery as Maxima) for $39 with 3 year free replacement warranty and 5 year pro-rated.

Johnson Controls is the contractor that runs the entire electrical system and powerplant of the large government building I work in. 4 years there, power has never gone out. Works for me.

Hah do the Costco batteries say 'Costco' on them? There goes your bling engine bay

As to batteries, I have my OEM one still doing fine, but in past cars I have always used Sears Die Hard and never had a problem. Also have confidence that Sears will take care of me if I ever did have a problem.
