Just Bought 2001 Maxima SE 20th anni

Like i said i just bought my maxima and was looking for some advice on bolt up grades like CAI, headers, and any other things. My big concern is screwing with my computer i dont want to deal with any check engine light crap. so any advice would be helpfull. I will have pics soon for anyone who would like to see

Thanks Again

nissan didnt have that color til 02. as far as modding goes, you might be better off looking at some of the faq and general posts in here. everyone has their own opinion. sometimes they have validity and sometimes its based worthless information. headers will provide the best power for na but more extensive install than most all other bolt ons. you can check my homepage for some ideas on my ae and my opinions that led to my mods. as far as the check engine light goes, it all depends on who installing the mods. most everyone knows their limits when it comes to know how so if you feel its out of your range then look for others in your area that can help or professional installers. owning a 2k-2k1, you are bound to get a cel whether you are stock or heavily modified.

Welcome to the AE family. I like my cattman/place racing CAI with the K&N filter.

I also have the cattman y, and the cattman catback would be a good set. There are a few headers out there but this is a little more involved as far as the installation goes.
