Need opinions of AE headlights or 2k2 headlights

well i want hids.. and i have a 2000 maxima,

i really like the look of the AE headlights but i also love the look of the 2k2 headlights

my dilemma:

should i get 2k1 AE headlight lamps and put AM 12000k hid lights( i love the purple look)

or should i just stick to 2k2 hids?

thanks

ps- for anyone who read my other thread, my max is still "slipping" when i turn on the car? not sure and gonna try and go to the dealer tommorw to see what they say

I say go for the 02 hids because u can still put those angel eyes on it and make it look even better.
The AE headlights...u can't do much with those other than put those lights u were talking about. And there's a possibility u may burn the housing with those lights. Maybe...not absolute sure.

if there is a 2k2 heads stealing prob where you live, then get the a/e and go the AM hid route. if not, get the 2k2 heads

in TN, there isnt an HID stealing problem. Nima, if you are just getting the 2k2 headlights for HIDs, I hope you can know you can get for your car the way it is. You can just get the HID is a regular low beam (you will not have high beams) or you could get Bi-Xenons (both your low and high beams will be HIDs)

12000 hid kind of defeats the purpose of having HIDs, The highest i would go colorwise is 8k and that's for a really blue color.

I would get the 2k2 HIDs and add angel eyes. Just my .02

yeah, 12k is too much and you wont gain visibility over something as low as 8k. If you are and can spend $$$, get 2k2 headlights, Hids, and angel eyes.
