From what I have heard, gas prices will be heading even further down here in the OKC area following the Labor Day rush at the pumps. I am currently filling up at Texaco for 1.77/gal for 91 oct (max you can get in OK) and regular unleaded is 1.57/gal. After hearing from others around the nation, I am very grateful.

dude.... if i knew where gas prices were gonna be in a month, i'd put on a nice, fat position, collect my cash & trade my Max in for a nice Bentley Continental GT.

If Ivan decides to visit us later this week, I won't be surprised if prices jump by another dime or two, depending on gas delivery. But you can do some speculation with our Florida gas and still make some money for a Continental GT

MJK, figure prices will go down as refineries get rid of their summer blend inventories but then come October.... BAM!!! back to $2-3/gal as the winter blend supplies don't meet demand because the state EPAs require specific blends in their states, refineries are slow to retool for winter, not to mention the possibility of a fire at refinery Y, or Iraqis blowing up pipeline Z, Chavez sends more free oil to Castro...

Go ahead S/C and have fun.

We're still at around 2.19 for 91 octane.

As for what prices will be next month, lemme give my OPEC buddies a call and see what they have to say...

NY 93 - $2.35 - anything could change the price of gas. If I had to guess it would be going up, not down. Thanks to War, terrorism threats, middleast conflicts, greedy oil companies and Everyone who loves SUVs and 15mpg (especially NY) Where they can get 5 miles to the gallon because of the traffic on the Grand Central parking lot.

man, go and get boosted. you live once, don't you?

if you're paying <2.00 per gallon for 91-93 octance, consider yourself LUCKY. or come to cali (or one of other expensive-gas states) and start paying these prices
