power window problem...maby

power window problem...maby

on my 01,max the drivers side window will go down about 2 inches after pushing the auto window up button...
(i push the button to put the window up,it goes all the way to the top,then drops back down 2 inches automatically). has anyone had this problem
or is it normal..................................please let me know

i think the pinch sensor needs to be adjusted..

mine is the same way, it was like that when i bought it. the dealer looked at it and said that it wasnt the sensor, it was the motor :scratchhead: i have to go back there when the painters are there and get everything done at once. they should be able to take care of you under warranty, if you still have one.

yea i do but their some real lazy *** people who like to temporarely fix things if you know what i mean.thanks though

I still think its the sensor since the up and down function works fine.. just when it get to the top. senses too much pressure and rolls back down .....
if u can do a search ... someone had the same problem and explained how to adjust the sensor.

i was convinced it was the sensor too, but the dealer said no...i have no idea, ill let those morons worry about it.

I have the same problem with my front passenger window. The dealer has my car right now and is looking at that problem as well as others.....
When I hear from them, I'll post what the problem was.....

I had the exact same problem, took it to the dealer right before the 3 year warranty ended and they fixed it for free.
