After disconnecting battery do you have ...
to do anything in the way of resetting things?
For instance, after disconnecting my battery for a few hours (over night) my window down on key fob button doesn't work. Is there some programming to 'enable' this function again? Similar, the manual turn key to lower the windows only works the driver's door. Is this programmable?
I believe some of my other electrical problems are likely causing these functions to not work, but my conversation with the Service Advisor at the dealership claimed these inoperative states may not be indicative of a problem, but rather could be reset with programming.
So, with the excellent problems solving help of Studman, and others leading me to conclude my Smart Entrance controller is "flakey", now I am trying to challenge the service tech's opinion that it sounds like the switch in the door. So I thought I'd ask this questions....
Thanks for any help.
