So far I haven't done anything but the Front Strut Tower Bar but it all depends on what you want: performance or looks.

I'm sure you're gonna get TONS of responses but you gotta define what type of mods you're looking for.

Edit: Oh yeah and Welcome to the org!

Hi and welcome. I would do all the lighting mods and that way you get to know your car, then a UR underdrive pulley
and a rear sway bar is a must have.

Welcome.
I suggest the rear sway bar as the first mod. It's relatively cheap, relatively easy to do, and makes a big difference. Other than that, I suggest you browse around the org and browse org members' cardomain pages and you'll see quite a few useful mods...

Clear corners and an FSTB are 2 of the easiest mods. Add a rear sway bar for much improved handling, and an intake for great sound under acceleration (and a few more hp). All can be had for $400 to $500.

And welcome to the org. You'll find a lot of good info here. Get a cardomain site and post some pics.

Welcome to the org.... I started with clear corners, cat-back exhaust, intake, shocks/springs (coming soon), in that order... unlike most of the other people you'll run into here, I'm kinda all over the place and didn't really think it through. Just kinda going with whatever comes my way...

It really depends on what you're looking for... more hp, looks, handling, etc... so take your time and look through all the posts (esp FAQs), ask questions, and you'll get a good idea....

You can check out the Classifieds and Group Deals for good prices on stuff....

Have fun and let the money bleed...

... looking back, I wish I spent the money on a y-pipe before my catback and intake.... now I'm in school again with no income...

Clear Corners and then get some nice LEDs found at autolumination.com
Upgrade headlight assembly to 2k2/2k3 or buy the ones with angel eyes off the web, maybe get some HIDs. Get rid of those nasty taillights or spray tint them or something. (I hate the all red) Get the stillen aero package.
CAI, strut tower bar, wheels, rear sway bar, y pipe, dash kit, just a few suggestions.

Thanks for the ideas, I guess I want to get the best of both worlds, looks and performance. By the way is there any members that are in buffalo or around? I'll post some pics when I get a chance.
