I'm not sure if every Wal-Mart is having a sale on these, but the store in Milpitas, CA is selling twin-packs of Sylvania SilverStar headlight bulbs for $20.00.

The '00 and '01 Maxima uses 9003, and the store had them in stock so I picked up two twin-packs today. That's a really good price since Wal-Mart normally sells one twin-pack for about $38.00 and auto parts stores tend to price them around $50.00.

These were red-tagged, so it may mean they are discontinuing SilverStars altogether. Get them while they last!

It's a shame these bulbs aren't really all that good for lighting. The US-spec SilverStars use a blue filter similar to the rest of those bluish ricer bulbs you find, and while they try to compensate by running at a higher wattage (I believe the package said...), mine burned out within 2-3 months. The Sylvania XtraVisions I popped in afterwards are still kicking 6 months later.
