opinions on eye lids please for 2k3

well i put theses eyelids on they are made out of same material as the dash kits . kinda cheap .. but i like it. since it actually glues on to the light and sticks to every curve. now should i paint them to match the color of the car? leave it alone? or paint it black? ( i have another set which if needed i'll be painting to replace these). i do have DDE's and the eyelids do a good job at covering up the top where the wires show a little

PAINT THEM to match your car.

BTW, I ordered mine in July and I'm still waiting for them.

"Man", i got the sames ones and have to paint them as well. I really don't like them as I was complaining to the guy who I bought them from. It's the same color as yours "beige". It doesn't match and you need to prime them and than paint it. My friend is painting mine with a flex agent in the primer or paint. It is the same stuff they use on our bumpers when they paint them so it won't crack.

I'll post pics when they are done.

I'm pretty sure that they are the ones who makes them for LCT. I ordered my eyelids back in early July. Last Friday DHL said they sould be delivered today, but as of now the tracking online says my pachage doesn't exist.

Have you tried vinyl eye lids? If you do the measuring and basically draw a design there are many print shops that will make you vinyl eyelids and match the color of your paint to a tee. They take a picture of your car or you can bring in a picture and they scan it into photoshop and take a swatch patch of paint and apply it to the vinyls.Alot cheaper and vinyls do pretty well in extreme weather.

well these were from e-bay. and i thought they looked like crap when i was holding them in my hand. but when i put them on i liked them more or less. i just wanted to coverup the wireends that stick out from the dde's.
thinking about making a fiberglass ones myself. i have a spare set of lights as a mold, so i'll use those instead of doin it on my car.

MJG you know why i use the bra , i covered up that scratch and that little dent in the hood and the chips of paint of course.

NYautoStyle, if i end up making the eyelids if i make a few sets maybe i can sell them through your site

Well after my long wait for probably the last pair of CF eyelids from LCT for a while now, DHL has even f'ed up my shipment. They were suppose to be delivered yesterday. There was a handling error and I was told they would be here today. Well I ckecked my tracking and they're still on the west coast a long way away from AL. They'll be here Friday. I'll be sure to post a lot pics for you guys that want these and can't get them.... lol. j/k, but I will post some pics.

Awesome Max by the way.... esp the rims... I would get something similar but I'm not sure how grey/gun-metal rims would look on a blue Max....

Hey I appreciate it. Just look at MaximaPolak's max. His stock wheels are now a blackish grey color. I don't know if that helps much, but it's something to go by.

Yeah I looked at his before, thanks... a lil dark for my liking... I got the gunmetal jones or something.... just love that look esp with the silver/chrome lining... anyways, gotta get some cash together before I can think about rims, so it may be a while...
