Installed Berk.....Have Problem
Okay, so I just got done installing my new Berk K&N intake, now my SES light won't go off, even after unplugging the battery for an hour. Any ideas?
EDIT: Would this have anything to do with the fact that I unplugged the sensor that was connected to the stock intake scoop that sits on the front of the engine compartment? I wasn't sure if that was supposed to be removed as well.

Yes, it would, as a matter of fact. Its the intake temperature sensor, and no you are not suppose to disconnect or remove it. If you removed the front inlet scoup, you should still have the IAT sensor connected and ziptied some where next to the intake.

Alright, well I took the temp sensor out of the scoop and tied it to one of the lines just below the front of the filter, then plugged it back in to the cable. Will there be any problem with the sensor being exposed like it is?
