2000 rattle and no solution

Guys:
My 2000 has a rattling sound on the front passenger side. It's like something is lose on the suspension or on that side for that matter.
My mechanic (not nissan dealer) changed the sway bar link, the ball joint, the lower control arm and both front struts, and after screwing me up with the bill, the stupid rattling is still there. He said he checked the strut mounts and said that they are fine. HE checked the engine mounts and says they are fine too.
Seriously, I absolutely hate driving with that annoying sound. Could it be a transmission mount or something on the exhaust. The sound is only on the passenger side. It's driving me nuts.
Has anybody experience this. Any suggentions. Almost killed somebody that said, "just turn the cd player volume up". Funny, right!

When does it occur? Do you have alot of junk in your glovebox? ALso, what kind of gas do you use? I have a sort of same prob with 00 Max, but I notice it clacks when I put poo poo gas in it. You know, the kind you use right before payday. Check glove and ashtray. My dad is a mechanic and he has repaird many rattles bu just emptying that out.

Seriously look at the glove box.

The bottom left side of mine came off the screw a long time ago - and it drove me nuts looking for a rattle.

I checked the glovebox and that is not it.
The rattle is felt not only when you pass over a pothole but when at speed 45 or 55 you can feel it even over slight imperfections on the road. When I pass a speedbump you can feel there something loose there. The gas I put is 93 octane.

Did you get down and look at the bottom left screw? I missed it the first two times I looked.

i had that. Mine ended up being one of the cheap metal brackets holding on all the muffler and tail piping rusted off.

It was only heard on the right side of the car, even though the bracket that came lose was dead center under the car.

Merlin muffler re soldered i back together for $10

SIt on the car... and try to rock it, see if you can isolate noise... could it be a leftover ratchet? Get people to listen with you. Do it with and without hood open. It sounds like a loose something. Have you also checked the wheel well? U may have hit something and it gets agitated as wheel goes up and down.

I have the soame issue on my 2000. My knock will occur on the slightest bump. I have noticed if I apply the brakes slightly the knock goes away. I have checked the calipers and all brake components. I am truly stumped.

Hmmm Mine might be something different but when I hit the gas for the first few seconds i hear a rattle from the outside then it goes away as i'm driving. Same exact rattle i had on my 95 Max.

Last Spring, I had a rattling problem with my 2000SE that might be the same thing you have. I only heard it when I accelerated. It turned out to be the heat shield had come loose and when the engine revved, it brushed up against it. My mechanic said it happens more often than you think, so I would check that.
