Newbie question...I know.

Anyway, iI tried the 6x in/out in the on position in the ignition and got the hazards to acknowledge, but after I pressed the lock button on the remote, nothing happened.

What is the correct button to press and/or the correct procedure for this?

I've rea the stickies and FAQ's, couldn't find anything.

 

Try pressing both the lock and the unlock button at the same time

 

Once you get in your car shut the door and lock them. Then insert the key about 6 times until flashers flash. Turn the key over to the on position but not to start the veh. Push the unlock button and it should flash once. Press the lock button again and press the the other remote unlock button, after this you should be set. Been doing this for 2 + years (nissan tech)
