Tranny fluid to be changed

Planning on flushing my auto tranny next weekend. Can someone help me on this.. I have the write up and everything, now I will need the Auto tranny fluid. Which one and how many quarts.

Moderator please dont move this one, almosr no one looks at the Fluid section

depends on what kind of exchange you are doing. are you doing a drain and refill or removing the line from the return line to flush it out? drain and refill typically netted me about 4.5 quarts on average and a little more when i dropped the pan. with the return method, it depends how many times it takes before the fluid coming out looks new. i think most said they used 10 quarts in 2 quart intervals. i use mobil 1 atf but whatever you get, just make sure its mercon/dexron III approved.

my car has 80k miles so I'm dropping the pan to clean the magnets and the crap...... I like to go with Mobil ATF from the best is the cheaper one......
