How do I take off the grill?

I want to paint it today and so i need to know if i have to remove the bumper to take out the grill. Is it hard and how many clips are there?

It seems that have a 5th gen... aren't those grilles one piece with the bumper? If so, then yes, you have to remove it.... they were talkin about 5.5 gens here, those grilles just pop right out...

2000 and 2001 needs the bumper removed to get the grille out.

2002 and 2003 does not need the bumper removed.

I don't think our grilles come off the bumper at all. The only way is to cut it out.

grill on 2k 2k1 doesnt come off at all. Molded into the design (which suks ****)

darn it.....i really want some alluminum finish or chrome front grill to go along with my front lips that i just ordered.......

now i gotta go around find out how much these ghetto quenns shops are gonna charge me to install a grill >.<

If I remember correctly its 3)10mm bolts. Quite simple if you have a deep socket. I could be wrong though,that was almost a year ago when I messed around with mine.
