Yes, we have a few left at the 149.00 price. Next batch of 20 might be priced a bit higher so to everyone that is still kinda hesitant, I would pick one up now and same some money.

Hey HPautoworks. I was wondering if we were going to have tracking numbers for these so I can sit at a computer all day and hit the refresh to see how much closer it is.

That is the actual STS for the Maxima. The peice is installed under the hood at the tranny, where the cable attaches.

Orders are all shipping out today via priority postal. Whats nice about postal on a small package is that we also gain a day of delivery (saturday).

HAHA, it has a mechanism that will prevent shifting when the driver has consumed more than 10 drinks.

All shifters were sent out today via postal mail, so keep a close watch at your mailbox. PhxBlue came down today and installed his on his own.....no help from me and it took about 7.21 minutes (haha)......very easy like I said. He will be posting pics of the shifter installed as well as instructions.

If you look at the pics closely, you can see that the TWM one looks like it's made thinner (flimsier?)... HP's uses a higher grade of aluminum also

I will never flame another companies product but from the looks of it, it would seem the 2 main factors that will outweigh everything is:

A.Constructed out of aerospace grade 7075-T6 aluminum vs standard 6061-T6 aluminum. No other STS currently has this strong metal.

B. Thinness of their construction. Not sure how well that will hold up over time. Ours is much denser and seems to be a bit stronger.

Here are some crappy camera phone pics and instructions. Very easy to do people! This took me 7 minutes to do which included messing up once. I did the install from referencing the instructions that come with it. The only thing that you are removing from your car is a washer, everything else stays there.

Here is the shift cable, metal piece the STS installs on top of, a wrist pin, and a washer.

Remove the wrist pin and the washer.

Remove the shifter cable from the top of the little post it sits on.

Take the shifter into your hand. ( in this pic you are looking at the bottom of the STS )

Turn the STS over and put the post from the original metal piece into the hole on the STS and the lil post on the STS you put the shift cable on.

Then you position the tail end of the STS that has the lil bolt sticking out of it over the notched area on the original metal piece and then push the STS down into place.

You then put the wrist pin back into place. You are not reusing the washer...

You then tighten down the lil bolt on the tail end of the STS with some locktite and a 10mm socket, DO NOT over tighten.

This is how it should look when you are done.

Here is before and after for comparison.

You are now pretty much done. This is very easy to do! I drove all over the place with it today. It is a very nice product, I am very pleased.

sweet... it looks very simple. i guess i was overthinking what steps had to be done for the install. hahahah. thanks for the pics... maybe i can even tackle this in the rain tomorrow.

since this product does not lower the shifter shaft, has anyone cut the shaft to make it lower? maybe i am asking for too much..

Cutting the shifter shaft is only more trouble than good. I recommend against it.
