HP Autoworks Short Shifter

yea. IT is more harm then good: think about it, at a shorter shifter radius, you require more force to create a torque.
Simple idea, the longer the lever arm, the less perpindicular force required to push the thing into gear.
Meaning, you need to push the stick harder. Having a radius length should be proportional to the amount of force required to push it, Meaning if you just arbitraily start chopping off a few inches of the stick, yea sure even with the STS installed, it may not be making it that more work, if u can get the exact measurement to make it the force as is now required to shift( no sts installed), yet isn't the point to make shifters, shorter, quicker, and more efficent? It would actually defeat the purpose of this STS.
leave the rod alone, a shorter rod after all, may look cool, but it's not all it's cracked up to be. Also, i prefer stock look.

I knew i should have paid attention in math class.
j/k. yeah, i guess it does make sense. I just hate haveing this huge pole for a shifter. I guess i will see how it feels with the STS installed. I can't wait untill tomorrow..

STS--Coming Today? (Saturday)
Same as above post. Is it coming in today? I know that the funds have been taken out of my bank account last week. Also sent an email to you. Thanks.

Everyone, Although we sent them out on thursday and on the average, regular postal mail takes 3-4 days, it may be a bit longer for east coast states. I shipped them postal because we would gain a extra day of delivery (saturday) vs UPS. I know you guys want your STS, just a few more days.

thanks for the update.

All orders were processed and shipped. There was not any problems with any website nor paypal orders. If there was a issue, we would have called; otherwise, the STS are already on its way. Almost all of you guys will be installing these very soon.

If its shows up today, or tomorrow, I will be right outside to install it... even if it is raining or snowing out. I can't wait until work ends...

As a side note: Our products are backed by a lifetime warranty and at any point during install or after install, anyone can feel free to call us for any tech support. Also our STS is fabricated using the latest CAD technology and is also the company which manufactures STS for TRD and Nismo......Just in case people had any second doubts or want to flame us for our STS.

Aight i got mine in today and installed. Well where to start. Dont get me wrong guys it does its job but man my a$s hurts after that raping on the price. I saw that box and thought that it had to be filled with gold to cost that much. I know i know that it takes alot of research to work this out but d@mn there is maybe $4 worth of metal there. Thanks again for the work guys but if i had it to do over again i think i would hold off and see what else comes in the future because someone will take this idea and run, i see this on ebay for 25 bucks in the future like the knockoff injen intake is now. but hey thats just my 2cents!

Got mine today and already installed it. You guys weren't lying....7 minute install. I used locktite as suggested. It reduced the throw by about 1 1/4 inch. (I measured). Took it out for a quick test. The throw is short and solid. Much quicker shifts are possible. I'm a very satisfied customer!
Kudos to HP for a great product!!

I know how you feel. I feel the same way. After I've invested almost 1/2 million dollars in equipment and a good 50 thousand dollars in cad and cam software. The years I've invested to learn all this stuff. And then make 40 Maxima Short Shifters. I can see I'm really gonna get rich on this.
Why do you think nobody else stepped up to the plate for you.
