I've asked this before, but can anyone remove door skins without a special tool?

I want to replace my pass. side pwr window switch tonight, but I don't have a "special tool" to remove the door skin...is there any other way to do it without breaking anything?

the 5th gen door panels pop right off with your hand
feel underneath for a rectangular hole - place 4 fingers in there and yank

make sure u take off all necessary screws first

If your replacing just the switch and not the whole assembly, no need to remove the whole door skin.

And make sure you are really careful with the plastic insert that sits around and in back of the door handle(not arm rest). If I remember correctly there is a screw that needs to be removed in there. The plastic piece gets a bit thin in construction along the top and I accidentally broke both of the ones in the front driver and passenger doors. They are actually much easier to remove and reinstall now that they are broken but I was a bit bummed about it.
