DDE's match the HID's perfectly IMO.....just cant get all 4 of mine to work at the same time. Either 1, 2, or 3 are dim every time i turn them on....very inconsistent...and it is 75deg here.

i know there is a lot of Piaa bashing goin on, however, i want to stick up for them and say i love mine.... i got the H4 GT-X's and they look great... better than the sylvanias.... a lot better. i had the drivers side low beam start cutting out after 8 months and i got them replaced under warranty. great service and a great bulb.

most people i know have had problems with PIAA's H3 bulbs for their fog lights not the H4 headlight bulbs.

Reallly? The main reason why i brought my first set of H3 fogs was because everybody on here were raving how good they were far as llight output and longevity. 11 months, 1 month before the warranty goes out seems like a pretty sturdy bulb to me.

I tried Hella Super whites, Philips blue vison, Sylvania Silver stars, Euro lite hyper whites,Nokya Artic whites, and none of them have compared to the PIAA's. Not in brightness, reliability, or even close to matching the color of our HIDS.All of those bulbs lasted aproximately 2 months and cost anywhere from $15 - 45 bucks a pop!

To me the PIAA's paid for themselves, maybe you guys got defective bulbs or something. I won't buy another bulb , unless something can match or out perform PIAA bulbs. Polarg is the only bulbs i will buy for clearance and side marker lights. Going on 18 months with them and not one of them have burnt out yet! Japanese build quality bulbs as they do cars!

heres a pic of my GTX

i got the GTX bulb had it for 5 months now, the quality of the pic isnt that great, my headlight looks alittle blue but they turn white when they warm up. these bulbs are very bright and they do match the headlights alittle, they have some purple tint to it though. look at my stock fogs on my sig, theyre bright as the stinkin parking lights.

one that i don't see on this list is Hoen. these are made to match HID's in BMW, Audi, etc. i have seen pics of them installed on a 2004 Acura TL where the fogs are actually right beside the headlamps and not down below like on the Max. after they burn in for a week or so they match in color to the HID. they run about $30 a pair. might be worth a shot here for someone looking for fog bulbs.
