Exhaust Making Noise

Exhaust Making Noise
I have had bad coils for almost a month and since I got the wrong parts in the mail my car won't be fixed until Thursday. I have been driving the car the whole time which I know is bad, but now it seems that my exhaust keeps on rattleing more and more as time goes on. Does anyone know what this could be from or if it is going to be permanent?

Are you sure its the exhaust making noise and not spark knocking? I would think that bad coils would cause a spark that's not "hot" enough to burn the fuel completely or something along those lines. That's my thought, though. I could definately be wrong.

I also have 2kSE and the junction between exaust pipe coming from the muffler and connector plate that connects to the other pipe - was rotten, so they became separated and were making a lot of noise. After learning that new exaust will cost me $300+++ I went to local mechanic which simply replaced a part of the pipe by cutting it and welding with a new piece for only $40. It took care of the noise problem and car runs great now.
Good luck.

I know the car is misfiring at all times. It sounds like the muffler is rattling when i hit the gas lightly... it's not as bad at wot but when i hit the gas a little and hold it there it rattles like crazy.
