With the 2 ways they can be run (blue & fogs fully on), were you able to use the stock connectors?

Did you have to run a switch up to the dash?

Any details would be great...

Thanks

i had these (except elliptical and horizontal) in my corolla a while ago. the bulb burned out every 2 months, and i did not even turn them on that often. gave up on the pos lights and took them off after replacing the bulbs 4 times. they did look cool, the light was really pure white even though the lens is blue tinted.

The city lights are on when the side markers are on. (no switch)
The factory switch controls the main fog lights with the stock connectors.

CORRECT. Yellow is actually preferable for fog lights

Question for DonGfun...

I want to go with the same citylight fogs you put in.

What specifically did you have to do to wire them in?
Did you have the Fog Light rewire mod before you put them in?

Thanks

I like them. The only thing that gets me is that the lens is blue when the lights are off.

Wired them off stock fog wire and connected the city lights to the corners
LED bulbs don't draw much current.

tell you the truth i never liked the stock lamps. I'm quite surprised by the style these had. I really comend you for a good exercise in budgeted styling. HOWEVER, I still wouldnt touch them with a 10ft pole; but that's just me. I'd want something with a higher temp light like the PIAAs or i believe i've seen some really sharp Toucan (sp?) lamps

i bought my fogs from wal-mart and they look exactly like those but don't have the blue tint. They were also only 19.99. I thought to myself, hmm spend 180 more on stock fogs or get these and use the money for something else. Everyone around here thinks their stock too.
