2k1 prob

is any one else having problems with 00-01 maximas making a scraping sound? the sound is coming from the brakes on the front passenger side. any help would be appreciated.(before i spend TOO much money)

reach behind the rotor/wheel and bend back the dust shield (the metal pizza-pan looking thing just inside of the rotor). It probably got bent somehow (snow?) and is scraping the back of the rotor. common problem.

i already removed the dust sheild. any other ideas that was my first thought to.

are your rotors surfaced evenly ? if not, resurface those puppies

Your brakes are finito, the brake pads have like a little metal thing sticking out so you can hear it rub before u start grinding upto your calipers. So maybe u need new brake pads.
