Home made AE headlights.
I was so hesitant about this, because I've never put anything but food in my oven. I bought a broken headlight from an org member(broken tab). I tested that one out and it came out perfect so I went ahead I did mine.

edit: it definitely made the max look more aggressive, check out my cardomain page, we have pretty much the same car, with the exception of the interior

I have a messed up one that I'll sell super-cheap (like $25) if you want one to practice on......the back is melted (wife turned up the oven without knowing there was a headlight in there and without telling me) doh!

Believe it or not. I have a friend who wants to trade me his 2k3 headlights for mine and plus $200 cash. But I can't get the 2k3 lights cuz of the stupid crack heads who steal headlights URRGGGG
So I gotta go the AE route.
And for the people that has no clue what i'm talking about. AE headlights are the Anniversary Edition headlights. Since they cost $200, what many of us here do is split open our stock headlights, and outline the inside housing black to make it look like the AE headlights. Costs = Free.
I too am doing this
I too am doing this . I am very patient & have no problem taking my time to complete this & pla
n on spending two different sundays to complete . The one question I have is whatever epoxy is holding the lights together do you need to have more or when you are ready to put them back together you just heat um up again & reuse the epoxy that was allready on the housing??

did it on mine ... check the sig, One side fogged up after a car wash so i had to redo that one and put new silicone in. I think it was because i didnt let them dry those few hours and i just put them in right after i did em. Patience is key for this mod.
i over baked mine and melted the tabs the first time... my oven is old....
i would highly suggest wrapping the headlight in a towel and wet the towel.. i used the steam from the towel to loosent the headlight... this ensures that u dont melt anything
