Is there such a thing as cheap floor mats?

I'd like to replace the floor mats of my 2001 Maxima (with frost interior) when the weather starts warming up.

I found OEM replacements at Courtesy Nissan for $66. That seems a little steep. Does anyone know of a place where I could get OEM, or OEM knock-offs, for cheaper? I already looked on eBay to no avail...

that's pretty good price for OEM floormats. You can always check eBay if you want to save some money.

$66 is a vary fair price. I paid $78 for mats for my wife's Altima at the local dealer.

Try pricing the matts online at: http://www.jerryromenissan.com and use "maxima" as the discount code and you might be able to get them cheaper than Courtesy Nissan.

You have wires in your floor mats? Do they light up also?

Walmart mats do the job, but they don't look good doing it.

$66 seems cheap to me. I spent at least an hour trying to clean mine up - if I'd know they were so cheap, I'd have just ordered new ones.

I did an extensive search for floor mats (internet, Wally World, Auto Parts Stores, ect.)...
Trust me dude... buy the OEM's. They are good quality, fit right, color is right, and they look right... simple as that...

you might want to consider the all season floor mats. i know they're probably more expensive (well atleast the ones that say nissan) but you will never have to buy another set of mats again. my dad has had his for over a year now and he loves them. whenever you wash your car just hose them down, let them dry, and they're as good as new.

i stand corrected. they're actually about $20 cheaper and they'll probably be the last floor mats you ever buy.

I agree. I see people buy the carpet ones, and then go to walmart to buy the rubber all season ones and put them on top :-? What a waste....Kinda like putting those car seat covers over the leather...I've seen them even on back seats.. Or you can just buy an all season one for the driver and leave the rest carpet . . .

I think i will get the all weather mats at the dealership. I got some at an autoparts store and they were too small and they move around a lot without the hole in them.

Check out e-bay, they usually have nismo floor mates with a metal plate where your right foot would rest for like $35. I would buy somebut my girl bought some cheazy brand for me and I don't want to insult her (they'll be gone soon enough)

Only problem with the all-season ones is that they only come in black (IIRC), and that's no good for those of us without the black interior.

My mats are stained to hell from the previous owner. I read a while back in the detailing forum that you can just throw 'em in a laundromat washer, and then I guess let them dry, and they should turn out really clean.
