Flaking Emblem

I own a 2k max. The black on the trunklid emblems is coming off. The MAXIMA and SE need to be replaced. Anyone else had this problem? Who sells these cheap? Here are some of my recent problems,
Coils failed -Replaced
Wheel bearing failure- Replaced
Starter Failure -Replaced
2 MAF Failed - Replaced
Seat heater failed - Fixed
Current problem - surging when cold. Not sure what is wrong?
I previously owned a 97 max, That car was problem free!
Do I have more than my share of problems?

The emblems you can take off with dental floss, and use paint stripper, and repaint. If you want to just buy an other one, try ebay, junkyard, or dealer.

The surging is probably your temperature sensor ($25 part) or you should change your fuel filter, and clean out your injectors (professionally).

I used floss to get the emblems off.... but there's no need for paint stripper and repainting... just use Goo Gone or Goof off to get the sticky stuff off and then wash the area well when you're done. I'd just take em off and leave it like that... looks better debadged, IMO of course...

The emblem on my engine cover is bubbling, but I found a TSB that says the dealer can just replace the emblem, seeing as it's still under warranty. With the rear emblems (MAXIMA and SE), just remove them, trunk looks much cleaner!
