can they be opened up like headlights and resealed?

and for those who have been following, i have gotten my money back from the group deal in which my money almost went missing.

Yep, and you can remove the orange for your custom clears. There is a clear lens underneath!

There is a writeup out there if you can find it.

in short:

Take your time is the best advice,



First I cut the orange off with a cutoff wheel and a dremel until it was just around the edges. Then I cooked it in a toster oven till the glue loostened and pulled the rest of the orange off. The clear lens underneath was not attached. After all the orange is cleaned off I used silicone to attach the clear lens to the frame and your done.

I have a set in my garage if anyone is interested, good luck if try it yourself and let me know if you have more questions.

You have to cut the orange out and then the clear lens will fall right out. I bet you could try and pry the orange light off but you might crack it.
