Weird Clicking Noise Front Drivers Side...Any Ideas?

I first heard this noise 2 weeks ago when I drove home from school ..only 50 miles.. I turned off the car when I got home and drove it about 3 hours later and it was gone. I drove home again this weekend and sure enough there is this same clicking sound...i rolled down the windows on a side street and it sounds as if it's coming from the front drivers side wheel area...the clicking noise gets faster as I accelerate and obviously stops as I brake...any idea what this could be? Thanks guys.

Did you check to make sure that all the bolts are tight?
My car was making a similar sounding noise and it turned out to be one of the bolts that holds the caliper on. Tight bolt, no more noise.

Check if there's anything lodged in the tires on the driver's side. My altima had that sound and it was a screw...
