What seems to be a pulley issue... Please help...

Alright guys... i've been modding my car up slowly to give the car a chance to really learn each mod (since we apparently have "learning computer") as I installed them. It is a process that was recommended by local .orgers and something I think makes sense. Anyways, my first mod was the intake which did not affect the car in a negative way whatsoever so I did my second mod which was the UR Ultra S underdrive pulley. When it was installed everything was picture perfect... UR says (as does my tech) that it may take 5-7 days for the car's ecu to fully learn and take advantage of the reduced weight at the crank so I didn't run the car hard at all. The most i did was 4k rpm and that was only during two shifts. In other words, i wanted to break in the new belt (my mechanic left the power steering pump one stock becuase the Gates belt i got for it was the wrong size thanks to custommaxima.com) properly, etc.. It apparently fit fine and he was able to tighen everything (my guess is that the power steering pump is the only accessory not being underdriven).. Again, everything felt picture perfect no CEL lights or anything of the sort. So today i decide to wind the car up to get a feel for the pulley and whatnot... I gunned it a total of two times and all of the sudden my car will not idle properly anymore. it feels like it is going to cut out and idles between 400-800 rough... Its completely weird... I'm going to take it to the shop and get the recommended belt for the PSP installed but what do you guys think... i was thinking about resetting the ECU but i dont want to do anything that might mess the car up even more... My car is 100% babied & its at 39k miles.

im not sure but Jeremy aka JOWhereRU blew his 3.5 motor because of the pulley. Sumthing about harmonic sumthing with the motor doesnt agree with pulley and some strange stuff. Know it doesnt help much but ill ask him again wut happened. But i do know the car broke cause of the pulley.

yeah, my guy told me about it and said its called the harmonic balancer... he said it shouldn't be a big deal, especially just 6 days since its been installed. He told me that might become an issue after higher mileage since the harmonic balancer is supposed to protect the engine from shaking or whatever and over time it might go bad... its more of a engine life thing...
my engine doesnt sound like its dead or clacking.. its just an idling issue right now but i want thoughts... i'm going to go ahead and reset the ecu to see what that does... gunning the car TWO times should not create this issue...

what pulley did JOWhereRU have?... was it the UR Ultra S pulley?
