Need one 02-03 for FREE prototype in Northern VA THIS WEEKEND

Hey guys, Dave from ActiveTuning (www.activetuning.com) here..some of you may know me from NissanClub.com, My350Z, local meets, etc

If you don't know me or my company, we specialize in manufacturing parts strictly for Nissan and Infiniti.

I know this is short notice, but we are looking for one 02-03 Maxima that is willing to come to Centreville, VA (Northern VA near Fair Lakes) to help us prototype a custom grounding kit. The car needs to be stock under the hood. We need the cars here for about 1-2 hours of your time (you can hang around) to stop by my house anytime between Saturday and Tuesday this weekend (5/28 - 5/31). Tuesday we'll only be available until about 3pm at the latest. You'll get a free custom grounding kit from us which we'll be selling for $49.99 shipped and will of course be custom made to fit the 02-03 Maxima specifically.

What we'll be doing in the prototyping is finding the best mounting points, the most optimum wire lengths, and taking pictures of the installation.

If you'd be interested, we'll be accepting applicants on a first come first serve basis, simply shoot me a PM with the day and time you'll be available as well as your phone #, and I'll be in touch with you. We'll be installing the APS Twin Turbo on our project 350Z, so you'll be able to check that out too if interested

A little history on our grounding kits. We have them for these current applications:

- 03-05 Nissan 350Z
- 93-05 Nissan Altima
- 95-01 Nissan Maxima
- 04-05 Nissan Maxima
- 04-05 Nissan Pathfinder Armada
- 04-05 Nissan Titan
- 91-94 Nissan Sentra SE-R
- 02-05 Nissan Sentra SE-R

We hope to be adding many new applications in the near future...There's plenty of customer reviews that are on our website if you'd like to see some testimonials as well.

If you guys have any questions or comments, feel free to post a reply or contact me personally.

Mine's not 100% stock, but close enough. Let me know if you want it for your prototype. Looks pretty under the hood. Nice and clean!

I still have my stock airbox and can remove the FSTB. Other than that, only a painted grill and engine cover are left that aren't 100% stock. Fitment should be the same. Here's my Cardomain site for more pics: http://www.cardomain.com/memberpage/734886

Send me a PM with your number and we can set up a time. I live in Germantown, MD.

There really are no disadvantages to having one....but in regards to what it does, how it works, and if it works, there's sooo much info out there....coming from an electrical engineer, it does work...but more importantly coming from real world experience from not only ourselves, but from our customers, it does work.

To sum it up, it grounds the cars electrical system more efficiently. This in turn makes this work better, like the ECU. If the ECU can be more efficient (get data faster for example), it can do stuff like give better gas mileage, increase in performance (don't count on this one though....that's usually on older cars, but in some instances like the Nissan Titan we really did a feel a noticeable difference). A lot of people having smoother shifts, brighter headlights, easier starts. If you have a system in your car, the lights sometimes don't dim anymore.

Hope that better answers your question!

There are no plans for this...it's not really the market we're shooting at, especially for the cost. Obviously adding the voltage stabilizer significantly increases our cost, which in turn increases yours. Our kit is effective, and at a great price point. It's better than the universal kit as everything is custom fit for your car. On grounds you want to have the shortest wire from each grounding point to make it as efficient as possible. Obviously since it's custom fit, you will have just that. Plus we offer an step-by-step with pics install guide you can follow, so there's no guesswork involved when it comes to install.

The only changes under my hood in an intake which should have nothing to do with your mounting points. I live in Burke, if you are interested I can come out that way. Also, Soonerfan has an 03 and lives about 6 miles from you. Take your pick.

I was just posting that we have two people ready to go already, so we have our guy. I appreciate the offer to help us out though...if something falls through with both of those guys, I will definitely be in touch with you.
